Aphrodites Pink Lady cocktail drink. 22 August 2019

 Myself and my son, John, spent a wonderful afternoon sipping, a perfect cocktail in the early autumn golden white sunlight. It was an experimental work in progress, and quite inspired, writing the recipe down before i forget it, lol,

Tin of mixed pink and grey Grapefruit segment,s ... ( which i’d opened for breakfast the other day... and needed “useing up” ) and a handful of fresh Strawberries, ( also, that desperately needed “useing up”, ) ..... ( mixed together in a glass bowl and refridgerated for two day,s ) .... ((hense why I needed to “use it up” lol, smile,s))..... lots of Ice... Water... quite a bit of Cherry Gin ( ....according to requitement ..... .....) giggle,s ...... whizzed up in my magic smoothie maker ...... (very pink, and a little frothy, mmm,) ... then added fresh Mint leaves and lastly which just made the flavour perfectly delicious ..... dried Cherries (fresh or cocktail cherries would have been better, but i had to use what i got, ).... on a stick, to stir, and add a few to the glass ....
very homemade, and on a budget, our verdict, was sweet on first sip, then, slightly bitter, from the Grapefruit, but which was kind of “balanced out” with the Cherries, Strawberries, and Gin.... made about 10 flute glasses full . loverly....... hehe..... smiles, ( with a slightly flushed pink looking grin) ♥

pocket universe.

  odd thing last night, was about 10pm, and i took frank for his night time wee, thick fog, pitch black, and no lights past our house, not even from across the road from the neighbours, no security light, no lights up the village, and frank refused to walk past our car into the darkness and fog, still thick fog today, kind of feels like im in a bubble universe. or pocket universe, nd theres nothing beyond the place i live. 4th march 2021

  i encountered a strange, message and drama,  as i was on my daily walk, over the fields.   I was stopped, short in my strolll, by a magpie, landing on the telephone wires,  above my head, so i greeted the magpie, "hello", i said, and he bowed, and chirped, 3 times, i repeated "hello", he again bowed and chirped, 3 times, i said "hello" once, more and he bowed and chirped, 3 times, then flew of ahead of me. so i carried on walking, thinking about the occurance.      As i was looking ahead, i saw a commotion in the trees before, me.  two magpies, and a raven, fighting, in the top, of a mountian ash tree,   as there were some broken eggs, under the tree, a few days ago, i assumned, the two magies, were trying to pinch, the eggs, from the nest, of the raven,   and "tutted" at the squabbling birds, then was showered with magpie feathers.     I picked, all the feathers, up, noted there were  18  white and b...
